Mission Statement
God the Father
We believe in God the Father, the creator of heaven and Earth.
1 Corinthians 8:6
6yet for us there is but one God, the Father, from whom all things came and for whom we live; and there is but one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom all things came and through whom we live.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ His son, who was crucified for the sins of all mankind and rose on the third day to sit at the right hand of God the Father.
1 John 3:23 NIV
23And this is his command: to believe in the name of his Son, Jesus Christ, and to love one another as he commanded us.
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit who dwells in us and guides us according to the Father.
Ephesians 1:13 NIV
13And you also were included in Christ when you heard the message of truth, the gospel of your salvation. When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit
The Virgin Birth
We believe that Jesus Christ was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary.
Matthew 1:23 NIV
“The virgin will conceive and give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel” (which means “God with us”).
Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God through grace and faith in Jesus Christ; that all who believe and accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour will be saved by turning from sin to repentance.
1 Timothy 1:15 NIV
15Here is a trustworthy saying that deserves full acceptance: Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners—of whom I am the worst.
Baptism
We believe that following faith in Jesus, every believer should be baptised by immersion in water in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit.
Mark 1:8 NIV
8I baptize you with[a] water, but he will baptize you with the Holy Spirit.”
The Holy Bible
We believe that the bible is the infallible and authoritative Word of God.
1 Peter 1:25 NIV
25but the word of the Lord endures forever. And this is the word that was preached to you.
Healing
we believe that God heals people through the power of the Holy Spirit, through supernatural healing which often involves the laying on of hands. When we pray for healing we pray believing, because a miracle of healing will happen.
Matthew 5:23 NIV
23Jesus went throughout Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom, and healing every disease and sickness among the people.
The Blood of Jesus
We believe that the blood of Jesus was shed for us on the cross of Calvary; that it cleanses us from all sin and grants us access into the presence of God.
1 Corinthians 10:16 NIV
16Is not the cup of thanksgiving for which we give thanks a participation in the blood of Christ? And is not the bread that we break a participation in the body of Christ?
The Second Coming of Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus will come again to the earth in glory and the dead will rise again; that those who are alive in Christ will be translated into the presence of God for eternity.
1 Thessalonians 4:16 NIV
